Just days after sending Nick Mears to the Milwaukee Brewers, the Colorado Rockies have made their second move involving a reliever of the 2024 Trade Deadline, sending left-hander Jalen Beeks to the Pittsburgh Pirates for left-handed pitching prospect Luis Peralta.

Beeks, 31, was initially claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays by the Rockies last offseason.
