It is hard to believe that after two weeks of play, the Colorado Rockies are already sitting at the bottom of the National League West when there was so much promise heading into the season. After 12 games, they are already six games under .500 and 4.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres since losing nine of the last 10 games.
There are plenty of excuses for Colorado’s horrid start. From injuries to almost a third of the Opening Day roster, horrible starting pitching, and the lack of offense, the list can go on and on.
