The Colorado Rockies have only played two games thus far in Cactus League play (plus one cancellation due to rain) but there already have been a lot of players who you may not know that have seen game action.
In the Colorado Rockies’ first spring game, someone by the name of Eric Stamets, a non-roster invitee with two hits in 41 career big-league at-bats (.049), stepped up to the plate in the fifth inning and hit a three-run home run into the left-field stands against the Angels.
Then again in the second game, a 3-for-3 performance by prospect Bret Boswell to go along with another day of obscure relief pitchers taking the mound had Google hard at work.
