The Colorado Rockies are back at Surprise Stadium for one more matchup against the 2023 World Series champion Texas Rangers. Their last game didn’t quite go as planned with a 5-0 loss and witnessing former Rockies pitcher Jon Gray break his wrist thanks to a screaming comebacker. The Rockies lineup is an interesting combination of minor leaguers, camp invites, and big leaguers, while the Rangers are sending out a squad very close to what their Opening Day lineup will be.
Germán Márquez will make the start for the Rockies tonight. The right-handed veteran—still on the mend from Tommy John surgery—has had an up and down spring.
