The Colorado Rockies have made a bevy of roster moves in the past few weeks and before today’s game with the New York Mets, they are making another.
The Rockies are activating left-handed reliever Chris Rusin off the 10-day disabled list. He was originally on the disabled list with a right intercostal strain and he hasn’t seen any game action since April 22 against the Cubs, when he dealt 1 2/3 innings of scoreless, hitless ball.
Since Rusin needs a spot on the 25-man roster, the Rockies decided to send right-handed reliever Antonio Senzatela back to Triple-A Albuquerque.
