On Wednesday, the Rockies outrighted right-handers Justin Miller and Christian Bergman to Triple-A Albuquerque. With the move, the Rockies now have 38 players on the 40-man roster.
The 28-year-old Bergman had injury issues last season and bounced between Albuquerque and Denver. He went 1-3 with an 8.39 ERA in 15 appearances covering 24.2 innings. In three seasons with the Rockies, Bergman is 7-9 with a 5.79 ERA. He has started in 15 of his 55 games with Colorado.
The 29-year-old Miller battled injuries last season as well, finishing 1-1 with a 5.70 ERA in 42.
