Colorado Rockies Rally Back Only To Lose Late To Texas Rangers

The Colorado Rockies and Texas Rangers met in the rubber match of their three-game series on Wednesday afternoon in Denver.

The Colorado Rockies rallied back from a big early deficit on Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough for the club after giving up two runs to break up a tie game in the top of the ninth inning, losing to the Texas Rangers 10-8 at Coors Field in the series’ rubber match.

The game started with the Rangers jumping out for four runs in the top of the first inning off Rockies’ starter Jorge De La Rosa, thanks to two perfectly placed bunt base hits and several timely singles.
