Anderson allowed just one run in six innings in a 6-1 loss for Albuquerque.
Lefty Tyler Anderson, the Rockies' first-round pick in 2011, made his long-awaited Triple-A debut Friday against the Iowa Cubs.
Anderson was strong, allowing just one run on five hits in six innings of work, walking two and striking out five. However, the Isotopes' offense and bullpen let him down in a 6-1 loss. Anderson threw an efficient 82 pitches in his six innings, 53 of them for strikes.
The run Anderson allowed came in the second inning, when Cubs left fielder Matt Murton singled, advanced to second thanks to a walk to Dan Vogelbach, made third via a balk and scored on an error by Albuquerque shortstop Joey Wong.
