Colorado Rockies prospects: Grand Junction loses home opener

Despite not recording a single extra-base hit, the Rock Cats scored seven runs, including six in the fourth inning, in a 7-3 win over Richmond. New Britain trailed 1-0 entering the top of the fourth, but scored six runs on six hits with a walk and an error to take a 6-1 lead they would not relinquish. Starting pitcher Shane Carle allowed three runs, all earned, on 10 hits in seven innings pitched with no walks and three strikeouts.
