The High-A Spokane Indians continued their hot streak this week, extending their win streak to nine games! The Low-A Fresno Grizzlies split their series with the Modesto Nuts, and the upper minors both posted losing records (although the Isotopes lost 13-11 in extras on Sunday against the Las Vegas Aviators).
In Triple-A, Colton Welker (No. 6 PuRP) has been absolutely tearing it up since his return from suspension. In 12 games with the Isotopes, Welker is slashing .333/.400/.556 with two doubles, a triple, two home runs, 13 RBI, five walks, and 13 strikeouts. He has also reached base in all 12 games, going hitless on August 13 but drawing two walks.
