The Colorado Rockies had a tough day across their farm system on Thursday, as only two of the Rockies’ six affiliates was able to come away with a victory. There were, however, some strong individual performances in spite of the less-than-ideal team performance. One such performance came from No. 13 PuRP Brian Mundell, who homered as part of a four-hit day in Double-A Hartford’s 13 inning loss. The 24-year-old righty got off to a slow start in 2018, hitting just .221/.320/.322 in his first 44 games of the season, but has started to heat up of late.
