Colorado Rockies prospect Bladimir Restituyo homers in third straight game

In recent years, the Colorado Rockies have opted for quantity over the top-level quality when it comes to signing international free agents, opting to grab several players with a high ceiling each year. One of those players in 2017 was infielder Bladimir Restituyo, who celebrated his 16th birthday by signing with the Rockies for $200,000.

Now a 17-year-old in the Dominican Summer League, Restituyo is beginning to show the Rockies a return on their investment. He hit .291/.337/.396 with 12 steals in 46 games with the DSL Rockies before being moved to DSL Colorado earlier this week.
