According to the team’s official Twitter account, the Colorado Rockies have placed catcher Michael McKenry on the 60-day disabled list with a knee injury, and have recalled catcher Dustin Garneau from AAA Albuquerque to take his place on the active roster.
Considering the time of the season in which they are making this move, McKenry is likely finished for the year.
