The Colorado Rockies are leading the series 2-1 but Philadelphia is coming off an 8-5 victory on Friday night that was keyed by Bryce Harper’s three-run home run in the seventh inning. The loss snapped Colorado’s season-high five-game winning streak. It also marked the third time in franchise history that the Rockies (now 8-13 on the season) had won five or more games following a losing streak of eight or more games.
The loss also ended Colorado’s six-game winning streak against the Phillies, tied for the longest winning streak against Philadelphia in franchise history.
