The Colorado Rockies have optioned switch-hitting utility man Rafael Ynoa to Triple-A Albuquerque ahead of the 2016 season. The club also reassigned right-hander Brian Schlitter to Triple-A. The club’s spring training roster is now at 38 players which includes six non-secondary-roster players.

Ynoa has played 91 games in his career in the majors all with the Rockies. The 28-year-old spent half of his 2015 season in Triple-A where he batted .286/.333/.388 over 56 games.
