It appears DICKMANIA will be taking at least a few days off.
Colorado Rockies outfielder Corey Dickerson was removed from the team's 14-3 drubbing at the hands of the San Diego Padres on Monday with a foot injury later revealed as plantar fasciitis. Though the case is "mild," as Rockies manager Walt Weiss told the media after the game, plantar fasciitis can be rather debilitating and will almost certainly require Dickerson to miss a not-insignificant number of games.
It's not yet known whether Dickerson, who is hitting .286/.314/.510 in 51 plate appearances, will land on the disabled list.
