The five combined homers by the Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants all carried some bit of significance so here is a quick rundown.
Trevor Story hit his 25th home run off the season in the first inning off Tyler Beede. He has now homered in three straight games and in five consecutive games against the Giants, which is tied for the longest home run streak against any single opponent in franchise history. Former Rockies’ all-time great Andres Galarraga did it way back in 1996 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
