Before today’s game with the San Diego Padres, the Colorado Rockies announced that they optioned right-handed reliever Scott Oberg to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Taking his place in the bullpen and on the 25-man roster is right-hander Brooks Pounders. Pounders was not on the Rockies 40-man roster so, for him to get on the 40-man roster, the Rockies designated right-handed pitcher Zach Jemiola for assignment.
