The Rockies started fast today against Tim Lincecum, whose fastball topped out at just 86 mph. After Charlie Blackmon grounded out to start the game, DJ LeMahieu walked, stole second, and scored on a Troy Tulowitzki single. Tulowitzki scored on a Nolan Arenado double, and Arenado scored on a Wilin Rosario single, giving the Rockies a three run first inning and nearly running Lincecum from the game. The Rockies bats very nearly chased him again in the second after a Brandon Barnes walk and a Charlie Blackmon double.
