The Colorado Rockies took on the Arizona Diamondbacks for game two of their mid-week series after a big Rox win on Tuesday night.
The Arizona Diamondbacks scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning off Colorado Rockies closer John Axford, and won 8-7 on Wdnesday night in Denver to even the mid-week series at one game apiece.
The Rockies scored two runs in the first inning of Diamondbacks’ starter Allen Webster, first aided by a Nick Ahmed throwing error on a DJ LeMahieu ground ball, and then with a Troy Tulowitzki RBI single.
