According to Kyle Newman of the Denver Post, Colorado Rockies left-handed starting pitcher Kyle Freeland will return to the Rockies from Triple-A Albuquerque in the first series after the All-Star break.
He will return to the Rockies after being sent down to Albuquerque back nearly six weeks ago, on May 31, after an atrocious start to his 2019 campaign. He had an ERA of 7.13 in a dozen starts with the Rockies along with a home run rate that was triple of what his 2018 campaign was, as he allowed 15 home runs in 59 1/3 innings.
