ARLINGTON- Colorado Rockies manager Bud Black provided injury updates to the media, including Rox Pile, on pitchers Jon Gray, Jordan Sheffield, Peter Lambert, and Ryan Rolison prior to Tuesday’s game against the Rockies game against the Texas Rangers.
Jon Gray (forearm tightness) threw in a side session at about 3:30 PM C.T. and Black reported that Gray’s side session was “very good.” The team is “encouraged” and “optimistic” that Gray will make his scheduled start against the Atlanta Braves.
