After falling in the first two games of their road series against the Cincinnati Reds, the Colorado Rockies were able to pull-off a 6-5 victory on Wednesday and have a chance to earn a split in the four-game set this afternoon before heading to New York for their final series before the All Star break.
Austin Gomber will get the ball for the Rockies, entering the start with a 2-5 record and 4.47 ERA. After a hot start to the season, Gomber cooled off considerably in June with a 9.39 ERA in five starts but has started to turn the page in July.
