The Rockies (46-46) earned their first home series victory since mid-June this weekend, and they’re hoping to do the same this week against the suddenly resurgent San Francisco Giants (43-49), who are 8-2 in their last 10 games. Today is the start of a four-game series with a day-night doubleheader. The first game is the make up from a rain/snow out on May 8.
While the division is more or less wrapped up for the Dodgers (the Rockies and Dbacks are 14 1⁄2 games back), the Rockies are only 1 1⁄2 games behind the Phillies for the second Wild Card and only three games behind the Nationals for the lead.
