The Colorado Rockies played a very Colorado Rockies game last night, but somehow they were able to pull out a win over the Washington Nationals on a walk-off walk/pitch clock violation (a clock off?). They made positive history as the first team in MLB history to win via a walk-off pitch clock violation. The win marked their fifth walk-off win of the season, including the second of this homestand. It was the 10th walk-off walk in franchise history (last: Brendon Rodgers, June 1, 2021 vs Texas Rangers). The Rockies have been involved in 10 walk-offs this year and are 5-5.
