It’s here, folks! The Colorado Rockies (1-5) have officially returned home for their first series at Coors in 2025. They will face the Oakland Las Vegas Sacramento Athletics (2-5). They are 18-14 all-time in their Home Opener, including 17-13 at Coors Field. They have won each of their last two, and the second-straight season that they will face an American League opponent after never having done so prior to 2024. After a record-high 75 degrees last Home Opener, today’s first pitch is supposed to be around 39 degrees. If that holds, it will mark the third time that a Rockies Home Opener had a first-pitch temperature of under 40 degrees.
