After a tough loss in frigid extra innings last night, the Rockies will look to tie the series up in game two against the Diamondbacks. Coming off such a lengthy game where over half of each teams’ bullpens were used, both teams would undoubtedly like to see their starters work as deep into the game as possible. Something both starters failed to do in each of their last starts.
Madison Bumgarner (0-0, 13.50 ERA) will make his 18th career start at Coors Field where he also hold a career 4.56 ERA. One player who you would have thought to been in the lineup against Bumgarner is Charlie Blackmon.
