It’s a new week and a new series for the Colorado Rockies (15-31) who will travel across the bay to play the Oakland Athletics (19-30). It’s worth noting that the A’s are trying to break an eight-game losing streak while the Rockies were swept by the San Francisco Giants over the weekend.
The Rockies have gone 21-20 against Oakland all-time, including 7-9 at the Coliseum. They last played in Oakland on July 28-29, 2020 and won both games of the series.
The Rockies announced earlier today that Kris Bryant has been activated.
