After falling victim to a walk-off loss on Monday night, the Rockies (20-21) will hope to bounce back in game two of the three-game series against the Padres (26-17) on Tuesday night. It’s a good thing the game will be at Petco Park with a game-time projected temperature of 74 degrees, as opposed to Coors Field where it’s supposed to be 34 degrees and snowing.
On the mound for the Rockies will be Chi Chi González, who hasn’t pitched very much this season, only throwing nine innings over three appearances including one start. A big part of that is a 22-day stint on the IL because of right bicep tendonitis.
