After being swept by the Houston Astros in Mexico City over the weekend, the Colorado Rockies will look to start fresh in Miami against the Marlins. That also means with some fresh faces on the roster.
The Rockies announced today that they have selected the contract of outfielder Jordan Beck (No. 6 PuRP). In the corresponding moves, they placed Nolan Jones on the 10-day IL with a lower back strain (retroactive to April 29) and transferred LHP Lucas Gilbreath to the 60-day IL after he suffered a setback during his rehab assignment from Tommy John surgery.
