Hoping to salvage this three-game road trip in Kansas City, the Rockies will try to get a win this afternoon in Game 2 of a doubleheader against the Royals on Thursday afternoon.
At least they have a pitcher with one of their four wins on the mound as Chase Dollander (1-2, 7.36 ERA) will be making his fourth career start. He began his rookie season with a win and he remains one of only two starters to record a win (along with Antonio Senzatela) this season. As noted in Evan Lang’s spotlight on Dollander on Monday, Dollander has been great with strikeouts, recording 18 in 14 2⁄3 innings.
