The Colorado Rockies will once again play a doubleheader on Thursday after rain forced the issue in Kansas City on Wednesday.
The 4-18 Rockies have been a little more competitive as of late, showing glimpses of life during their 11-inning loss on Tuesday, but all the pieces aren’t fitting together still. After Ryan Feltner delivered one of the best outings of the season by a Rockies starter on Tuesday, he will pass the baton to Germán Márquez, who is looking to rebound from his last outing.
Márquez (0-3, 8.27 ERA) is coming off his worst start of the season when he couldn’t get out of the first inning on April 16 against the Dodgers.
