After striking out 17 times in game one of tonight’s double header against the San Francisco Giants, the Colorado Rockies have now lost ten straight games by the bay at Oracle Park. The Rockies won’t have much time to lick their wounds before game two this evening, but there is still room to salvage the double header.
Right-handed rookie Tanner Gordon will start the game for the Rockies, freshly called up to serve as the 27th man in the double header. Gordon has shown promise in his first two big league starts, but has also been hammered by opposing teams.
