The Colorado Rockies kick off a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox this evening, hosting them for just the fifth time in franchise history (during the regular season). The last time the Sox were in town was 2019, where the Rox lost both games of the two-game set. They have gone 5-5 overall at Coors Field against the Sox during the regular season. They took two of three at Fenway Park in 2023, though, winning each of the first two games in extra innings.
The Red Sox bring with them old friend Trevor Story, who is making his first return to Coors Field since he left after the 2021 season.
