Jordan Lyles may soon see the disabled list, and reliever Ken Roberts already has, making the Colorado Rockies the latest big league team dealing with nagging injury issues.
The Colorado Rockies announced this weekend that reliever Ken Roberts was going to be placed on the disabled list with left elbow inflammation, after joining the team two weeks ago and making his Major League debut.
In Roberts’ place on the mound, Brooks Brown returned to the bullpen after being activated from the disabled list having recovered from right shoulder inflammation.
Now, Jordan Lyles is hoping he doesn’t have to go on the disabled list, admitting he could miss at least his next start with a sprained toe after injuring himself this weekend against the San Francisco Giants.
