Well, we’ve been waiting to hear the news about Colorado Rockies closer Adam Ottavino’s elbow injury, and what the extent of the damage may be, and now we know. And… it ain’t good.
According to Nick Groke and the Denver Post, Ottavino is facing season-ending elbow reconstruction. Tommy John surgery is, of course, the worst-case scenario for Ottavino, and one that will keep him out until early next season, at the earliest.
