In forcing of a tiebreaker game for the division title against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday afternoon (where the Colorado Rockies will seek their first-ever National League West crown), Blackmon hit for the cycle.
Tripling to leadoff the game, homering in the third, singling in the fifth and doubling in the eighth, Blackmon accomplished the feat for the ninth time in Rockies history and the 323rd cycle in Major League Baseball history (it was the 281st cycle since 1901).
The last time a Rockie hit for the cycle was Nolan Arenado on June 18, 2017 when he walked off the San Francisco Giants to finish the feat and provide one of the most memorable endings in Rockies history.
