On Monday morning, before the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks kicked off a big four-game National League West matchup, Charlie Blackmon was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain. Yonathan Daza was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque to take his place on the active roster.
In another move, Noel Cuevas was reinstated from the 10-day injured list after suffering a left quad strain in his 2019 Rockies debut. He was optioned to Triple-A.
Blackmon first suffered the injury when he fouled a ball off his calf in the series finale in Pittsburgh on Thursday in the third inning.
