The Colorado Rockies and Washington Nationals met on Saturday night in the second game of their weekend series in our nation’s capital.
The Colorado Rockies only got three hits — while failing to walk and striking out twelve times — in seven innings against starter Stephen Strasburg, and his strong outing led the Washington Nationals to an easy 6-1 victory on Saturday night.
The Rockies and starter Eddie Butler didn’t get off to the best start, with a second inning double by Wilson Ramos bringing home two runs to put the Nationals up early.
