A ground-ball to third resulted in a rundown that he finished himself. That was followed by the 999th strike-out of De La Rosa's career. He finished off the gutsy performance by inducing yet another ground ball to third base.
He would come back out in the seventh and eclipse the 100 pitch mark -- finishing with 104, 61 for strikes.
