Jeff Hoffman, like most of the Rockies this year, has had a very rough season for the Colorado Rockies. However, he has been one of a few bright spots in the past few weeks for the Rockies, particularly on the pitching front.
Since coming up on September 1, he has made two starts for the Rockies and outside of Tim Melville, he has been the Rockies most consistent starter in the month.
In his two starts in September, Hoffman has averaged 5 1/3 innings per start with a 4.22 ERA. He has allowed a bit more baserunners than you’d like in 10 2/3 total innings (17 baserunners) but only five have scored.
