Since the Rockies were able to shake off their doldrums of their 3-12 start, they have looked every bit the contender they were supposed to be, improving to 9-2 in their last 11 games with an 8-4 win over the Atlanta Braves. The win moved the Rockies to 7-1 all time in SunTrust Park, which seems it will not be the house of horrors the Braves’ two previous home parks were for them.
Nolan and Trevor go back-to-back
With the Rockies trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado put them on the board against Braves starter Max Fried with back-to-back home runs to left on his first two pitches of the inning.
