Chatwood allowed just one hit in his eight innings of work as the Rockies won the series opener
Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully referred to Howie Kendrick's second-inning single as, "One little hit. One murmur of protest." as it was the only hit Tyler Chatwood allowed in eight innings in the Rockies' 6-1 win Monday.
The lone hit allowed by Chatwood did contribute to the Dodgers' one run in the game. Chatwood also walked four, one intentionally, and hit a batter while striking out five, dropping his ERA to 2.79 in a dozen starts this season.
