Chris Rusin‘s time in the Rockies organization isn’t done yet.
Designated for assignment by the Rockies on June 7, the southpaw reliever cleared waivers and has been assigned to Triple-A Albuquerque. The 32-year-old Rusin pitched for Colorado for five seasons but has thrown only one inning across two appearances for the Rockies this season after a back strain kept him on the injured list until May 31. He allowed four earned runs in u2153 of an inning in his season debut against Toronto.
