The final game of the 2017 season seemed a lot like a spring training game. The Rockies trotted out half a dozen pitchers, and the Dodgers did the same. Rockies position players began to exit as early as the fourth inning. The Dodgers ultimately beat the Rockies 6-3.
The Dodgers got runs off of Kyle Freeland in the first and the third inning. Hoffman came in for the fourth inning, and he didn’t look great. He allowed three hits and three runs in 12⁄3 innings. Most troublingly, he walked four and struck out just one.
