Bettis will make his third start of the season for the Rockies. He enters the game with a 5.73 ERA in limited action. Carlos Gonzalez, DJ LeMahieu, and Wilin Rosario are all getting the day off. Nolan Arenado is in the starting lineup again after playing two yesterday. Like Troy Tulowitzki, Arenado wants to play all the time, and he'll make the case to do so. Given that he experienced back spasms on Friday night, it's somewhat surprising that he's in the staring lineup for three games in two days.
