Carlos Gonzalez going nuclear, and other Rockies getting healthy

Welcome to today's Rockpile

Carlos Gonzalez blasted another two home runs last night, bringing him up to 35 for the season, a career high. All this after a miserable April and June, too. It's fun to watch a guy as utterly locked in as CarGo clearly is. Thank goodness we didn't trade him before that hot streak really solidified into a monster season.

It's easy to forget that Tyler Chatwood will be in the starting pitching mix next season after he completes his recovery from Tommy John. Remember that pretty awesome 2013 he had? It's not guaranteed he'll duplicate it--probably not even likely--but it's important to have a bunch of guys around with the potential to help.
