CarGo's 40th homer not enough vs. D-backs

The Rockies capitalized on an error by D-backs left fielder David Peralta to score a pair of runs in the first. It was that kind of night early on for Arizona, which committed a pair of errors and added a missed tag at third for good measure.

After the Rockies ran their lead to 3-1 on Carlos Gonzalez's 40th homer of the year, the D-backs scored runs in the third and fourth innings to tie things up. Rockies starter Christian Bergman worked five innings while D-backs lefty Robbie Ray tossed six before the game turned into a battle of the bullpens.
