DENVER -- Chad Bettis lost his perfect game bid in the fifth, but he tossed the Rockies' first complete game of the season, as Carlos Gonzalez supplied the power in a 6-0 win over the Giants at Coors Field on Monday.
Bettis tossed the Rockies' first nine-inning complete game since Sept. 3, 2015, allowing just two hits and no walks. The Giants' first baserunner came on a bloop single to left field by Eduardo Nunez in the fifth, and Trevor Brown's leadoff double in the sixth was the only other baserunner.
