Brian Mundell, Josh Fuentes lead offensive explosion in Asheville

The Asheville Tourists produced 15 runs on 20 hits Tuesday evening, as they smashed the Greenville Drive, 17-7. Their two hottest hitters, Josh Fuentes and Brian Mundell, led the charge, combining for eight hits, five doubles, four runs and five RBI between them. Fuentes and Mundell are making up for the absence of top prospect Brendan Rodgers, who is on the 7-day DL with a tight hamstring. Rodgers is expected to return later this week, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Fuentes, who is Nolan Arenado's cousin, is in his second year with Asheville and is excelling now that he's getting consistent playing time, producing a line of .
